Default Event Items

Hi All

As with the event coming soon, does event items dropped by monsters increase with HM or is the drop rate in Nm and HM the same?

Do your event item farming in NM, it's faster and you can do it solo with almost any profession. I usually farm the Hulking Stone Elementals in Old Ascalon which gives me granite also.

I think the OP meant trophies like Charr Carvings & Decayed Orr Emblems, not Pumpkin Pies, Cupcakes, and things like that. Personally, I like farming Feathered Caromi Scalps in N. Kryta Province. They're a 1 for 1 trade at the collector in LA, and you get plenty of feathers as well as the occasional nice rune. (Ft. Ranick Mission is good for Charr Carvings)

Event items and the stackable trophies that you can trade to get them always have the same percent chance to drop in NM and HM. Hard Mode only increases the drop rate of purple and gold items. It does not affect common items.

N Kryta Mission, take the back route and you get oodles of Decayed orr emblems. Plus you get a fair amount of white and black dyes.
Ive piled up 4 stacks of emblems in a week.

Its just terribly boring.

Oh. I see. The timing of your question threw me. Ususally the question about "ToT Bag-type" drop rates doesn't come up until after the event has started. I thought that you were planning to farm up a bunch of stuff for the collectors in preparation for the event.
